• Non-combustible (flash point of 100F or higher) / Non-flammable (lower flash point 100F or below), doesn’t add to spread of flame, natural corrosion resistance. Aluminium sheeting coatings does not require protection which may contribute to fire hazards. (Flammable material catches fire easier than a combustible material due to the minimal amount of energy (heat) required to get it going versus the higher requirement of a combustible material).
• Class 1 tested to BS 476; Part 7: 1971 low melting point (640c) of aluminium, self-venting occurs, thereby direct heat to the atmosphere instead of spreading the fire throughout building.
